Rushing Blooms is a woman-owned floral studio rooted in an organic, intuitive, seasonal, garden-inspired approach to design.

Led by florist and designer Svetlana Green, the studio creates work that is expressive, organic, and deeply considered.

Svetlana’s practice is guided by a reverence for nature and its rhythms. She creates arrangements that feel alive, unforced, guided by color, texture, movement and a sense of effortless abundance.. Compositions are carefully refined yet intentionally loose, favoring softness over symmetry, atmosphere over excess, and beauty that reveals itself quietly. 

Working with both fresh and preserved flowers and foliage, Svetlana prioritizes seasonal availability and local sourcing whenever possible. Most blooms are grown by Virginia farmers, whose dedication, craft and care she deeply respects and admires.

Sustainability is integral to the studio’s ethos: floral foam is never used, and all designs rely on thoughtful, eco-conscious mechanics.

Whether creating a full wedding installation, an intimate event or a single bouquet, every project is approached with the same intention — to create something meaningful, evocative and intentional.

The work is meant to hold feeling, shape atmosphere, and leave a gentle but lasting impression long after the flowers have faded.
